Reliance Jio Wi-Fi to setup in government educational institutes of Haryana

The Haryana Government has taken decision to install Reliance Jio Wi-Fi in all the government educational institutes of the state.

This initiative has been taken to promote cashless transactions, state’s Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma said.

“The Reliance Jio will deploy overall infrastructure for deployment of Wi-Fi or Small Cell in all the government colleges free of cost. As part of the introductory offer for all government colleges, it will give 20 MB free usage per day per user for all students and staff for one year

The entire objectionable website will be blocked by Reliance Jio according to Government of India directions.

The Haryana government has told the principals of all government colleges to give suitable space and security for Wi-Fi.

“They will also provide power supply for the equipment. However, Reliance Jio will pay the electricity bills so generated,” Ram Bilas Sharma, Education Minister said.
