Nokia D1C price revealed

Nokia’s Android gambit went official last week, an announcement which left many wondering what to expect from such a combination. One of the most consistently leaked phones expected to come out of the project is the D1C, a mid-range smartphone which may be launched in two variants.

One version of the Nokia D1C is predicted to carry a 5-inch 1080p screen, 2GB of RAM, and a 13MP rear camera. The other could get by on a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP primary shooter. Nokia Power User is now reporting that the former will be bundled with a $150 (Rs 9999) price tag and the latter with a $200 (Rs 12999) one.

The figures firmly place the two within the affordable market sector, a key segment in countries like India. The report also alleges that the D1C is going to be one of the first Nokia Android phones to be launched. It’ll probably be making its debut at the MWC which is taking place in February 2017.

As for its other specifications, the D1C may feature an 8MP selfie snapper, 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 processor, an Adreno 505 GPU, and Nougat.
